Boss Beauties raises $4.4 million to turn its NFT collection into media IP

Boss Beauties is now even more future proof. We are honored to announce that we have raised $4.4 million in seed funding, bringing BB to an initial valuation of $30 million. We truly believe in the power of being stronger together and to that end, we could not be more grateful for the unwavering support we have received from both our institutional investors and from you, our incredible community. The round was led by Offline Ventures, whose partners include Web3 entrepreneurs Brit Morin and Randi Zuckerberg, and former Apple executive, James Higa. The round also had participation from outstanding strategic partners including Serena Ventures, Anu Duggal with Female Founders Fund, and Wieden+Kennedy.
We’re excited about the future and what this means for you, our Boss Beauties holders and community, as well as the NFT space at large.
We have been working on this capital raise for many months and have been extremely intentional in our strategy, our reasons for bringing on institutional capital, and the partners we have brought on. Since this journey is something we’re on together with you, we knew it was important to share how we’re thinking about venture capital and how it will propel us forward as a community.
It’s important to know that each of these VCs were BB holders beforehand, so we all share the same vision and are truly coming together as one.
Bringing on institutional capital will not only give Boss Beauties additional funding to scale rapidly and market on our many partnerships, it will also bring on expertise from some of the best strategic investors in Web3 and business to help us give back to Boss Beauties holders. We couldn’t be more honored to partner with Offline Ventures, Female Founders Fund, Serena Ventures, and Wieden+Kennedy to scale and grow, impact women, and build on our vision for equipping women to be everything they want to be.
